This is just a quick tip to get Leopard’s Finder window to display the full path to the current directory in the title bar. Essentially this is just the results from a pwd command being constantly displayed in the finder window. While power users will immediately find this very useful even normal users will appreciate this when needing to quickly know the path to the currently viewed files (such as iTunes songs or iPhoto pictures viewed from the Finder).
To implement this feature open up /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app and enter the following,
killall Finder
where killall Finder is necessary for the changes to take effect and changing YES to NO and re-entering the command will revert the changes. If all went well your Finder title bar should look something like this:
