If You Like Technology You Should Watch These Great Video Podcasts

podcast logoHere are the video podcasts that I enjoy watching on a regular basis. Most of these are available in HD or high quality formats. Be sure to go to the podcast site to find the HD feed and then open iTunes and use the Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast … trick to get the best quality video.

GeekBrief.TV

GeekBrief.TV provides Shiny, Happy Tech News. It’s a 3-5 minute video podcast released 4 days a week that covers news about technology, consumer electronics, and Web 2.0 projects. Cali Lewis hosts GeekBrief TV and delivers the tech news with a healthy dose of pep.

Mobuzz TV

If you want a smart and quirky take on all the latest news from the web, then Mobuzz TV delivers with its bite-size 5 minute daily shows that can be accessed online or downloaded to your mobile. Olivia hosts Mobuzz TV and does a great job of walking the fine line between friendly and professional. Maybe it’s her British accent, but I think I’m in love.

Bad News Folks! Olivia has left Mobuzz with no plans to return. :(

Cranky Geeks

Cranky Geeks is hosted by John C. Dvorak, whose crankiness knows no bounds. The show’s presentation leaves a little bit to be desired with its dark environment and lack of HD feed, but despite its low-key setting Dvorak and co-hosts provide lively banter about each week’s hot tech topics.

Tekzilla

Patrick Norton and new co-host Veronica Belmont (of Mahalo fame) deliver product reviews, computer help, do it yourself projects, and tech tips on everything from iPods to camcorders, HD to the Internet. Veronica provides the sparkle and enthusiasm and Patrick adds adeptness and witty sarcasm, the combination of which makes Tekzilla fun to watch.

Diggnation

Diggnation is a weekly tech/web culture show where now (in)famous hosts Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht review the top news stories from social bookmarking site digg.com. While I continue to lose faith in digg’s ability to provide news that is interesting to me, the show is still fun to watch.

Scam School

If Harvard offered a Ph.D. in deceit, this would be it. Award-winning magician Brian Brushwood takes viewers on an inside tour of bar tricks, street cons, and scams. I realize this has very little to do with technology but come on, it is about getting free beer!
