Now that my Google Calendar syncs with my iCal, I actually have a reason to use iCal. Although I still mainly use it for the notifications and iPhone syncing, it is still nice to be able to see my daily agenda at a glance. Here are a few ways that I’ve found to display my iCal agenda quickly. Let me know if you use a different method that I missed.
Built-in iCal Widget
Clicking on the calendar widget in the dashboard will cycle through 3 different views. The largest view shows you daily agenda (see below).

iCal Events
iCal Events displays upcoming events from multiple iCal calendars in a beautiful, resizable widget for Dashboard.

Today ($15)
Today displays iCal events and tasks in a small window on your desktop and maintains your iCal color preferences. Today is also capable of creating events and tasks without opening iCal.

iCal Agenda
I haven’t tried this one — it seems to be in the early stages of development — so user beware. However, iCal agenda is inspired by the simplicity of the Anxiety GTD app which makes it worth a look.
