Sigourney Weaver offers up powerful performances (she got an Oscar nomination for Aliens) while going from starship driver, guide, prisoner and finally to bad ass. "Face-huggers" and "chest-bursters" to acidic blood, this sci-fi movie came out between Star Wars and Empire but definitely went a different way with it.
